This primer pump is suitable for Royal Berkey, Berkey Light, and other Berkey systems that use Black Berkey Purification Elements. It's hand-powered and can provide an adequate pressure gradient to saturate and force the water through the element's microscopic pores, removing trapped air and increasing the speed of water purification by 8 to 10 times.
